About NATA
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for architecture. Aspiring students / applicants of Architecture in India require taking the NATA Test for getting admitted in Architecture Colleges. NATA is being conducted by the Council of Architecture. NATA scores are used by admissions authorities of different state Government and private colleges of Architecture, to provide common measure for comparing the qualifications of applicants for admission in addition to their scholastic performance in 10+2 or equivalent examination..
Eligibility
Any person having passed SSLC (Std X) or equivalent examination can appear for NATA; however, candidates having 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject only are eligible for admission to B.Arch.Course. .
Pattern of NATA Test

The drawing test is a two hour paper where candidate has to attempt three questions and judged based on sketching ability, visualizing ability, perspective sense, creativity etc
Aesthetic Sensitivity Test is computer based where candidate has to answer 40 multiple choice questions. It measures perception, imagination and observation, creativity and communication along with architectural awareness.
